The MegaRAID remote battery kit option enables remote battery mounting of the LSIiBBU08, LSIiBBU07, and LSIiBBU07 off of the RAID controller. Required for use of the LSIiBBU07 with 9750 and 9280 16i4e / 24i4e controllers. In addition, the optional mounting accessory BBU-BRACKET-04 can be used with this kit for installing the BBU into an available PCI slot.
